Graphene Technology Innovation and  Industrialization Breakthroughs

This presentation reviews the development history, current state, and future path of China's graphene industrialization, and analyzes the industry bottlenecks, opportunities, and trends. It focuses on introducing the technological innovations and industrialization breakthroughs of China National Manufacturing Innovation Center for Graphene in preparation technology of graphene small sheets, as well as graphene applications in  electric heating elements, silicon-carbon composite anode materials, copper-based composite materials, and longitudinal thermal conductivity materials. It showcases the progress in key material preparation, performance improvement, application verification, and engineering development. It also discusses the construction of concept verification centers and pilot platforms, the collaboration of industry, academia, research, and application, and the path towards large-scale applications, providing a reference for the high-quality development of the graphene industry.

Biography

Researcher and doctoral supervisor, Director of the National Manufacturing Innovation Center for Graphene, selected for the National High-Level Talent Special Support Program, awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal, recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, and named one of Zhejiang Province's Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan and Binghamton University, State University of New York, from 2004 to 2008, and returned to China in 2008 to work at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Liu Zhaoping leads his team in focusing on research into graphene and lithium batteries. To date, he has published more than 300 papers in international academic journals such as Nature and Nature Energy, obtained more than 400 authorized invention patents, and achieved the transfer and commercialization of multiple technological achievements, including graphene and new-generation power lithium battery materials.
