Research on the Application of Graphene in Silicon-Carbon Anodes and Conductive Systems for Lithium Batteries
Graphene possesses high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, and excellent mechanical strength, making it a highly promising two-dimensional carbon material for the lithium battery field. When used as a coating layer in silicon-carbon anodes, its high-strength flexibility can buffer the volume expansion of silicon, its thermal conductivity enables uniform heat distribution across the electrode, and graphene coating can also optimize the interfacial compatibility when silicon-carbon is blended with graphite. As a conductive additive, graphene can both build an efficient conductive network and achieve uniform heat distribution in the electrode sheet, thereby enhancing the thermal safety level of the battery. The report elaborates on the mechanisms of action, material selection logic, and industrialization pain points of these two types of applications, providing support for related process optimization.
